Finally finished watching THE REVENANT.

Flick is a harrowing study of stress and tension as we join the characters in this broken landscape. It’s a really brilliant look at how long you can grit your teeth to get to the end, only to realise the revenge you saved yourself for isn’t the answer or salvation. In fact, it’s nothing. But you definitely want to do it anyway, because you had nothing left anyway.

It’s bleak, real bleak. I absolutely dug it, though admittedly took 4 different sessions to chip my way through it.
