d20 Potion Ghost

I was goofing about with my kid on Scratch because we have the Usborne ‘Coding for Beginners Using Scratch’ book and it’s fun and thinking with algorithms is crazy helpful, and we found the tutorial to make a Secret Number guessing game.

My brain instantly knew I could make this into something for D&D, and that it might be fun, so I quickly knocked up my own version in my account and tooled around to figure out how to make the guessing relate to the d20 and then how to make the positive outcome give the player something.

I think this little game could be simply tweaked before any session and allow the players a chance to interact with the ghost to get information, or a key, or anything you want it to say. It’s nifty, kinda cool, completely non-essential, but I think the fact it’s fun overrides most of that.

So, here’s my coded game, rough as it is – EXTERNAL LINK!
